Limited collaboration

Lea Hoyer x David Milberg

We have been so excited to announce our newest collaboration with one of our dear local Aarhus friends, David Milberg. David is an entrepreneur just like Lea, owning two bakeries, a restaurant, a bar and a clothing brand. David loves jewellery and has been a customer at Lea Hoyer for many years. David came to us because he had an idea for a specific earring. This led us to create a small unisex jewellery collection in collaboration with David. This collection consists of versatile pieces, perfect to add to your everyday jewellery.

Handmade glass vases

"I have always been fascinated by craftsmanship in general across various disciplines, and lately, I have been very intrigued by glass and how it is made. I see parallels to how we make jewelry through water casting, the unpredictability of the process, and the beauty that is created by hands," says Lea.

These vases are a natural extension of the organic universe, which also characterizes our jewellery collections. The vases are produced in Denmark by a local glassblower, and Lea has been involved throughout the process. This means that all the vases are hand-blown and handmade. When Lea started making jewellery, all the pieces were handmade and unique. The same process applies to our glass vases. Each of the vases are unique and has its quirks. The vases are created from the same shape, but being handmade, they exhibit differences.

At Lea Hoyer, there has always been a strong focus on aesthetics, as well as a creative and playful universe. Lea has always had a natural interest in design, decor, and beautiful things. It is important for her to surround herself with beautiful things that create peace around her and can provide both a peaceful work environment, relaxation time, and coziness. "Generally, I feel best when it's pretty around me, and therefore, it has always been natural for me to invite, decorate, and spoil the people who mean something to me," says Lea. Over the years, we have also experimented with, among other things, table setting. This year, we are adding our new glass vase to our home collection.

One of a kind

Handmade showpieces

At Lea Hoyer, we greatly value good craftsmanship. When Lea started making jewellery back in 2017, each piece was unique and different. The jewellery was created using our water casting technique, which meant that the final shape was always a surprise. Therefore, it was not possible to create two identical pieces. This process is playful, inspiring, and entirely different, which Lea fell in love with.

Therefore, it was possible to buy a completely handmade piece of jewellery that no one else had. It is a romantic idea to create something entirely unique. Unfortunately, this process did not align with the dream of growth and creating something bigger, so Lea found a production facility that shared the same core values.

Lea holds on to this romantic idea when creating showpieces. This makes it possible to play even more with shapes, volume, and the entire way of wearing jewellery.

Our showpieces are sold online as single, unique pieces, giving you the opportunity to invest in a completely one-of-a-kind piece of jewellery that embodies both love and craftsmanship.
